    To serve all NPOs in China, and to promote international cooperation and sustained development.

Our Tasks
Information Service and Networking
    One of our most important tasks is to provide information and consulting services to NPOs in China in order to facilitate information sharing and the development and utilization of various resources, which are essential to the survival and development of modern organizations.
NPO Forum
    It is designed, first, to familiarize NPOs practitioners and researchers with new development of the NPO sector by providing them with the opportunity to exchange ideas extensively; secondly, to address issues occurring in the development of NPOs in China; and finally, to improve their social cognition to reach consensus on miscellaneous matters.
NPO Information Exchange & Service
    We are building this center in order to provide NPOs in China and all those who are interested in the development of NPOs in China, with the information they need. Specifically, these services include the lending of relevant books and reference materials, and other rapid and convenient network information services. Our publications include Research Reports etc., and we are now translating more works on NPO development and management.
Consultation and Evaluation
    We are intent on the establishment of our own evaluation and assessment system and on the provision of consulting and assessment services.
Capacity Building and Training for NPO Professionals
    We are now trying our best to establish a fully localized training system that meets the needs of NPOs in China by incorporating in our training programs Chinese and foreign organizations' experience and resources in capacity building and training. Our aim is to promote sustained development for NPOs in China.
    1. The two-year "Training Program for Chinese NPO Professionals", initiated in 2000, provided training for more than 400 Chinese NPO professionals, who are key persons from NPOs in China, project managers, government officials and people from the business sector.

Research and Development
    We organize scholars and experts to carry out research studies of issues concerning NPO development.
