the hope to strengthen the communication between NPOs in Beijing and
in Shanghai and invite personalities from various circles to participate
in the course of the third sector more actively. Totally 60 people gathered
at the forum,
coming from NPOs both at home and overseas, government authorities,
academe and the media. Sponsors of both sides hope that the NPO Forum
can be continuously held in Shanghai in the future so as to provide
a better environment for the development of NPOs in China.
