Suggestions on the Current Situation of Foundations
and Related Regulationst

   On December 20, 2003, the 10th NPO Forum was held in Friendship Hall of CPAFFC as scheduled. The Forum was jointly hosed by China NPO Network and CFFPD at the suggestions of leaders of many foundations following the "Beijing International Symposium on the Legislation of Foundations" Held by 国务院法制办.
The Forum was chaired by Mr. Shang Yusheng, President of China NPO Network. Attendants held a warm discussion around the " Suggestions on the current situation of foundation operation and related regulations" and probed into many foundation-related issues such as its management system , its nature, its set…its financial management and accounting system, as well as the government's
regulation on foundations. The Forum was attended by more than 60 people from NPOs, the government, enterprises and academe.
