Advanced Study & Training Class for CEOs

    The first study & training class for CEOs run by China NPO Network was delivered at the International Education Exchange Centre of Beijing University of Science and Engineering between Sep.7 and Sep. 9. The training class was designed to meet the urgent needs of NPO managerial personnel for learning systemically the managerial know-how and effective management skills, so as to improve their abilities to solve specific problems encountered in their work. We specially invited Feng Yan, Lu Yuanping and Liu Shuqiong who are knowledgeable about NPOs in Taiwan to give lectures to the trainees. The lectures covered NPO management, NPO tactical planning, program design and evaluation, the management of human resources and volunteers of NPO, marketing management of NPO, fund-raising tactics etc. Experts from both Taiwan and the mainland made an inquiry into the management of NPOs and exchanged their experience in terms of this aspect. There are 35 trainees from more than 20 NPOs attended this class. They all deemed that this program was very enlightening, hoping to use more valuable management skills of NPOs in Taiwan as a reference, for the purpose of promoting the development of Chinese NPOs in a healthy and systemic way.
